假想樂土

This is no simple representation but rather an imaginary skyline made from locally selected manufacturing objects. Each object selected marks a significant era of Hong Kong’s manufacturing industries in 50s - 60s. From Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan to Kowloon and later further extended to Victoria Harbor. During these times, such industries supported and sustained these families and became the economic pillar for many of the working families in Hong Kong. To honor Hong Kong people's devotion and perseverance towards their city at a particularly crucial time, I have chosen five key manufacturing categories and constructed a series of "dreamscapes, a fantasy "homeland

that people at that time may have visualized.

Each diorama represents a platform to tell a small but fascinating story to celebrate this history of both struggle and self reliance of Hong Kong people.

掛在牆上的是靈感來自香港舊物的裝置藝術。以物件堆ᡂ的天際線和城市景觀，並不是一個簡單的陳述，而是來自收集本地的製造業產業作靈感，所做的一個假想天際線。每個物件都標誌著香港50-60代製造業的顯著時代。過去，製造業在香港一直是一個蓬勃發展的偉大骨幹之一，現都消失，或者正在掙扎。從油麻地九龍區的家庭經營商店和攤檔盡ྍ能收集本地的製造業產物。每個物件都是一個ᖹྎ，告訴著一個小而迷人的故事香港人奮鬥和自力的歷史記錄。選擇了五種主要產假想樂土ࠑ業，為香港構築了──一個香港人夢寐以求的家。
